Watermark and Banner System Complete!

Today I have a latin exam at 2ish. However, I woke up this morning hell bent on getting the watermark and banner to work simultaneously. I had had some problems getting the banner to work after the watermark script had run, the watermark script having to be run first. I sent to problem to the back of my "to-do" queue but after a long 4 hours testing and trying and thinking an pondering (those last 2 are actually the same thing), I finally did it!

Here's proof...

Slow Progress - It's not you, It's me. Literally.

This evening I felt like explaining why I have stopped most development on the site. Well... These past few weeks I've been preparing for exams, as I am in Year 10 my GCSE's aren't for another year, however these exams are mock mock exams and still need treating extremely importantly (does that make sense?).
For the next 2 whole weeks I will be on exam leave, my first starts tomorrow and last this week, I then get half term ( a break) and return a week later for another week of exams.

So, this is the reason for the slow progress on the site but once summer (which is on the horizon (literally)) comes, I plan to get the beta version of the site online and beta testers sorted. I may even think about opt-ins :P

A day off school.

Today I have a day off school (I'm ill you see) in which I am currently working on the screening system. I reckon if I push it today, I can get it finished. It's a bit of annoyance really, I have to design it in such a way that if someone's screening a photo another person can't access that photo and vice-versa. Also, the if someone exits a screening page the photo needs to go directly back into the queue. Since 9am this is what I've been programming in :). I should have it finished by tonight, which is good :).

Ciao For Now

The Dev Blog.

This is my new blog In which I will be posing updates on the Development of the FocusOnFlight website. FocusOnFlight.net is a new aviation photography website that I am currently working on. I've been developing it for the past couple of months and with the help of some good friends the database (that stores aircraft and airport data) is being slowly built up. The aim of this is to provide people instantly with an easy to use system where people do not have to manually type everything in for the starting months.

I will be posting updates on what I've been working on through the weeks to come here for anyone to read and comment upon. Finally when the time comes we will open up the user registration system for all, to come join a new growing community.
